Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting is currently a mandatory requirement by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) for all listed companies, each of which must submit a declaration. An ESG report not only allows stakeholders (such as investors, management, employees, and clients) and the media to better understand a company's goals and commitments regarding sustainable development practices, but it also drives the company to integrate sustainability plans into its core operations, creating additional value for society.
